Privacy Policy
Effective September 14, 2026
About this policy
Sochnev is an independent, unincorporated business and product identity operated by Pasha Sochnev. This policy describes the public website at sochnev.com. Linked or embedded services may have their own privacy policies, including services on other domains or subdomains.
Information processed when you visit
The homepage and policy pages do not ask you to create an account or submit information. Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website and processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and traffic metadata, to deliver and protect the service.
Missing-page responses load Rescued.Click and FF404 monitoring. That monitoring may process the requested URL, including query parameters, referring page, browser information, IP address or approximate region, timestamps, and redirect information to help identify and handle broken links. Avoid including sensitive information in website URLs.
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any information you choose to include. We use that information to respond and handle your request.
Cookies and browser storage
The homepage and policy pages do not set application cookies or use local browser storage. There is currently no sign-in session on this website. Infrastructure providers and linked or embedded services may process requests or use storage under their own policies; the missing-page monitoring described above is separate from the homepage.
Google sign-in and Google account data
Google sign-in is planned but is not currently available on this website. The current site does not request Google permissions or receive Google account information or authorization tokens through a sign-in flow.
Before Google sign-in is introduced, this policy will be updated to describe the information requested, its purpose, and how it is used, stored, shared, retained, and deleted. The permissions requested will also be shown in the Google consent flow.
You can review or remove an app's Google connection in your Google Account settings. Removing a connection stops the app's future access under that connection; it does not by itself delete information already held by that app. Contact the relevant service to request deletion of that information.
Sharing, security, and retention
Hosting and monitoring providers process the technical information described above to operate their services. Following an external link or loading embedded content also sends a request to that service. Its privacy policy applies to its processing.
The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. No internet service can guarantee complete security. Technical request and missing-page records are retained under the hosting and monitoring providers' retention practices.
You may contact us to ask about information associated with your visit or correspondence, or to request access, correction, or deletion. We may need information to identify the relevant record and verify your request. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal obligations, or resolving a dispute.
Policy updates
Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date. New features that change how personal information is handled will be described here before they are introduced.
