About these terms
Sochnev is operated by Pasha Sochnev ("we," "us"). These Website Terms concern the public informational website at sochnev.com. They apply to the extent enforceable under applicable law.
Browsing this website or sending an inquiry does not itself create a services agreement. Separate apps, products, and client engagements are governed by the agreements presented or agreed for those services. These Website Terms do not amend those agreements.
Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully and respect the rights of others. Do not gain unauthorized access, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, or interfere with the website. We may restrict access to protect its operation and security.
Content and intellectual property
Content, design, and marks belong to their respective owners. You may view the website and share links to its public pages. No ownership is transferred, and permission to imply endorsement using the Sochnev name or mark is not granted. Separate licenses and uses permitted by law remain unaffected.
Links and other services
Links and embedded content may lead to separately provided Sochnev services or independent third parties. Their applicable terms govern those services. A link does not guarantee availability, accuracy, or suitability, and we do not control independently operated services.
Availability and warranties
The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." Content and availability may change or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim express and implied warranties, including accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Commitments for a particular product or engagement belong in its separate agreement.
Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Pasha Sochnev, as the operator of this website, is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or lost profits, arising from use of or inability to use this website.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your nonwaivable consumer, privacy, and other statutory rights remain unaffected.
Governing law and disputes
California law governs these terms, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Where enforceable, court proceedings concerning these terms must be brought in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California. This does not restrict a competent small-claims court, complaints to regulators, or a forum available to you under mandatory law.
You may contact us to try to resolve a concern informally. Doing so is not a prerequisite to exercising your legal rights.
Privacy and updates
Our Privacy Policy explains how website information is handled. It is a notice of our practices, not a request for blanket consent to processing.
We publish revised terms here with an updated effective date and highlight material changes. Changes apply prospectively; when a change requires your agreement, we will request it. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
